Siramada was established with the goal of providing exceptional tourism experiences in Senegal. Founder Yaya Diallo is an advocate for sustainable tourism in Senegal and has over 10 years of experience in the industry. Siramada focuses on eco-friendly practices and collaborates with local communities to offer unique travel experiences that support environmental conservation and cultural preservation.

We work with experienced guides and local entrepreneurs to promote responsible tourism and support the local economy. Siramada is committed to creating meaningful and authentic travel experiences with a positive impact on both travellers and the communities they visit.

YAYA DIALLO

Yaya is a dedicated tour guide renowned for his deep appreciation of Senegal's rich cultural heritage and captivating history. Hailing from the vibrant Casamance region, Yaya has over a decade of experience meticulously crafting and co-leading tours that showcase the country's stunning landscapes, diverse traditions, and historical sites.

Beyond tourism, Yaya is a nature enthusiast, a keen hiker, and a passionate advocate for preserving Senegal's natural beauty. His well-rounded expertise extends to hospitality management and culinary arts, thanks to a prestigious diploma earned in Paris, France. As a passionate champion for community development, he is a driving force behind the empowerment of women in his village. He spearheads initiatives that not only fuel economic growth but also ignite social progress. His impact is tangible: from raising awareness and implementing impactful local projects, to championing the value of locally produced goods. His support has been instrumental in the success of projects like the Bear Women's Association's vegetable gardens and the GIE of Haby, a women-led enterprise producing natural products such as honey, shea butter, and Fonio.

A true citizen of the world, Yaya has resided in Canada, France, and Senegal. This multicultural experience has honed his language skills, making him a multilingual communicator and cultural ambassador.

Fluent in French, Italian, Spanish, English, Wolof, and Pulaar, this linguistic versatility allows him to engage with visitors from around the world and provide a truly immersive and personalized experience.

OUMAR SYLLA

Oumar, a seasoned tour guide with over a decade of experience, possesses a deep-rooted passion for nature and captivating landscapes. Born and raised in the picturesque Kédougou region of southeastern Senegal, he has cultivated an intimate connection to the land, shaping his career as a guide.

Oumar holds a professional tourist guide card issued by the Senegalese Ministry of Tourism and Leisure, and his expertise is further enhanced by extensive training in botany and ornithology. This foundation allows him to offer unique and insightful tours, enriching each journey with a deep understanding of the region's diverse flora and fauna.

Throughout his career, Oumar has collaborated with renowned travel agencies such as Nouvelles Frontières and Sartori País Viajes, broadening his understanding of diverse travel preferences and refining his ability to curate tailored experiences for a wide range of clientele.

A true polyglot, Oumar is fluent in several local languages, including Mandingue, Pulaar, and Wolof. His proficiency in English, French, and Spanish ensures seamless communication and an immersive experience for a global audience.

KARIM CAMARA

Karim, a proud native of the picturesque Kédougou region in Senegal, has amassed over a decade of invaluable experience as a professional tour guide.

His extensive expertise is centered around leading captivating and informative guided tours across Senegal, with a particular focus on the enchanting eastern region known as Pays de Bassari. Karim's unwavering passion for organizing exhilarating excursions and outdoor activities has allowed him to guide a diverse array of clients, both local and international, thus refining his skills through collaboration with a multitude of reputable agencies.

Fluent in four languages - English, French, Pulaar, and Wolof, Karim's dedication to his craft is further underscored by his possession of a professional tourist card issued by the esteemed Senegalese Ministry of Tourism and Leisure.
